Simple carbs, veggies and dairy indeed makes the perfect combination for easy, healthy and delicious meals. Here we combine the best of all; orzo, tomatoes and grated cheese. Via the addition of spices, we get a quick recipe for our lunch times.
Even the toddlers will be fond of it, just serve it as “pasta with bigger tomatoes” and you will see what we mean 🙂
Ingredients: Orzo, Tomato, grated cheese
1- Add orzo to the pre-heated pan and fry them until they get light brown.
2- Add a glass of water and boil them until they get big and soft (Tip: add less water if you like them crunchy)
3- In the mean time, slice down the tomato in thick pieces and add them next to orzo when the orzo is ready.
4- Sprinkle salt, pepper and spearmint onto the tomatoes and then flip them over to fry the other sides.
5- Add the grated cheese on the top of the tomatoes and close the lid of the pan for a minute.
6- Ready to serve!
