  4. I’ve had quite a bit of luck cooking traditional stove top risotto in my slow cooker on low for 4 hours. I just soften all the veggies and toast the rice on the stove in a pan and then dump it all in the slow cooker most recipes I’ve used have turned out perfectly! Definitely trying the last 2!

    Oh my god, I love risotto! My dad makes an awesome instant pot sausage risotto with sundried tomatoes and spinach and it's one of my FAVOURITE meals.

  9. Apparently alcohol cooking off is a myth. After 15 minutes of cooking, 40% of the alcohol content remains in the dish. More cooks off the longer you cook it, but still good to note that alcohol doesn't actually cook off immediately.

  14. Sarah, do you mind doing a video on dishes that pair well with different members of the onion family? Like what dishes are good to add shallots too? Green onions? Yellow onions? Leeks? White/spanish onions?
