When I saw the pictures of your eyes and lips reactions, I could relate! That's exactly how mine react! I also have rashes on my neck, arms, wrists and hands. You really remind me of myself. Today is day 3 on AIP. I really hope I can stick with it. You're an inspiration so thank you for posting this video. I hope AIP takes away my chronic muscle pain and gut issues as well.

I’m dealing with this for years too and my family always trying get me to use steroid creams I’m gonna keep trying and learning
    I’m always trying stuff

  7. I really hope people are nicer to you. I hope that you find what works for you to help with the itch and ultimately find a balance with clear skin. Acv with aloe saved me from itch. I love the food you made In The video they look yummy.

  8. Oh my god… my skin looks exactly like yours did and I really don't know what to do anymore… but your diet seemed to work real good . I'll give it a try! 🙂 thank you so much for this video!

  9. Withdrawal from steroid creams is a real thing. It is what gave me perioral dermatitis. And now they are telling me it autoimmune/hormonal. I am paleo, but maybe I should try AIP. I have Dr Ballentyne’s books…..no excuses!

I want to try the AIP diet, but I love cheese so much. I crave cheese a lot. How do you curb the cravings? Do you have any cheat days

  11. Oh my goodness, thank you for sharing!! I have been dealing with similar skin issues all over my legs and back and arms for about 10 years now( since I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease) and NOTHING helps- I have been so embarrassed by it, I’m looking into AIP now!

OMG!!!! THIS HAPPENED TO ME TOO — No doctor could give me answers or could help. I had it for a solid year when I thought I'd tear my skin off. Not even dermatologists have helped or even knew what I had. Your skin condition is exactly like mine. It nearly destroyed me and made me so so depressed.. I couldn't even sleep because all I could do was itch. I so feel your pain! I send you a huge virtual hug. XOXO AIP helps so much. All the best to you and you continue to heal and it goes away forever <3

I've been diagnosed with autoimmune disorder and L. S.. Nightmare, couldn't sit down, couldn't stand up, betnovate cream, 50/50 and dermol instead of soaps, even changed my hair dye to henna, body covered in huge raised lumps, lips swollen, and feel like crap. Things began to improve with raw foods, broccoli salad, but every book I've brought on aip diets contradicts each other. The corners of my mouth broke down too, well done to you, you seem to be well on the way to self healing.

  15. Subbed at 10 seconds in. Love your energy! Going on AIP this week. I have suffered with PLEVA for almost 2 yrs and I have hyperpigmentation from it. My case is not as severe as others people’s but it’s still horrible and effects my confidence especially in the boudoir ? wish me luck! all

  16. awesome videos! i just started my fitness/health journey and i find your videos the most helpful resource! one question not really related to this video but because you mention yoga is it any specific program you follow? or do you have any resources to get a beginner to start with yoga something like a youtube channel or some web pages that go through basic poses and routines? i d really appreciate it,i know it s not on the topic, but i kinda started binge watching your videos so i dont even remember which one was more appropriate to ask this, so i just thought i might as well ask before i forget

ah! im having the same exact issues around my eyelids, lips, and arms. its cleared up a bit since i purged all processed foods and coffee from my diet and started eating more healthy fats, but it's definitely not cured. are you planning on following this AIP indefinitely? and did you try reaching out to an immunologist? ive made an appt with one to get allergy tests done but idk if that's the way to go. thanks ❤

  18. You look great, Marissa! Do you know if AIP would help with telegenic effluvium at all? I would be willing to give this a shot if it would help at all with that

  19. Wild Alaskan sockeye salmon will cure basically any skin condition. It's the ultimate super food. My friend's dog had bad psoriasis and the fish cured it. It cured my keratosis pilaris also. You can't find a better source of vitamin D and omega 3 anywhere else.

  20. Wow what a difference ? well done you. I’m excited ? to see and feel positive change too. Your doing great xxxxx ?

  21. Don’t forget to have a huge amount of coconut cream and good fats too. I know you know what your doing honey but just wanted to say so you don’t forget, my husband is doing it too and hates coconut ? until death do us part lol xxxx ???

  22. Oh sweetheart you poor thing. I’m also on AIP just this week as I’ve got loads of autoimmune issues so decided enough is enough. I feel for you and totally understand how you feel. Your not by yourself honey. Big hugs ? and kisses xxxxx ????

  23. Ten years ago I had the same issue. The itching was horrible. I discovered the cause by eliminating foods and found it was lactose.I completely eliminated lactose for about 5 years. Now I can eat dairy almost everyday, but I only eat organic or from grass fed cows. When I eat dairy from no quality sources I start seeing those mini pimples again. And then I go some days without any dairy and they disappear

  24. you poor thing 🙁 this same exact thing happened to me a couple years ago, and it was so odd because i had NEVER experienced eczema or psoriasis but i remember being so freaking embarrassed and miserable. i'm so happy you're healing and feeling better!

This is great! I was just introduced to the AIP this week and started looking for ideas since I am waiting for Dr. Whals' book and you are the very first video!!!!! I have been talking about you for a long time to the person that introduced me to AIP and here you are, once again, to shine a light in my darkness. I suffer from gut issues and I feel AIP might help, so here I go!!!! Your healing process is truly a testament to what food can do for us.

  26. I started getting dry patches on my face (lower cheeks, chin, forehead and neck) when I turned 18. I am now 22 and the patches have gotten bigger, drier and itchier. I usually moisturize to hide the dryness. What is (AIP) ? I'm so interested.. love your channel!

  27. A subscriber just told me to check you out since you went AIP, so glad I did-great video and I'm looking forward to following your journey!

  28. stumbled on your channel by accident, and had an instant crush on your positive energy and goofiness 😀

I have been experimenting with my diet for past 2 years now. I started with keto, and really felt the benefits of fat based diet. Weight loss, mental health, more energy ect. Still had some digestive issues tho, and my life long acne was an issue. What really got me interested in autoimmune system, was my slowly developing rheumatism, wich i had inherited from my dad.

To the point! i cannot argue with your doctor, or any other "professional" in that matter, but I got really interested in the "Carnivore Diet" and had to give it an shot.
Well long story short: ive been eating 100% animal products for two weeks now, and to be completely honest, i havent NEVER felt so good in my life. Rheumatisms symptoms (joint pain) is slowly fading away, my skin was this clear when i was 10 and the energy levels are off the roof! 😀 This just came in to my mind while watching your videos, because autoimmune disorders, and skin problems are the main issues thousands of people have been cured by "carnivore diet".

To be fair, i dont have any right to tell anybody what to do or how to life hes/her life, but i think you are cute and deserve to have an healthy skin, so thats that.. 😀

  29. Just found this video. Just starting to look AIP diet to help me and my skin drama. You look amazing and glad u r doing well.
