  1. It is my belief that if you have the right spices, herbs and flavorings, you can make anything taste like whatever you wish. Meat products, eggs, chicken, etc. by themselves without any seasonings aren't good. You can do the same thing with vegetable based foods. You can take beans or chickpeas, smash them up with seasonings and make great, tasty patties, and if you didn't tell anyone that it wasn't beef or chicken, they probably wouldn't know. I am discovering that for myself. It's all in the seasonings and the texture.

  2. Why is oil not used? I just found your channel. I am considering a plant based diet after watching Game Changer at the theater.

  3. Sage would be good to add to your 'sausage' mix

I wonder? Have you tried to make sausage balls with your 'cheese' and plant based flour like for Christmas?

  4. This looks so delicious 😋. Thank you for sharing! Your family must feel so blessed to have such a talented sweet vegan chef!

  6. It's amusing how your sponsor is pushing meat….I'm sure you have no control…..or I hope not…..lol……it is amazing how the meat industry is fighting back….I mean a vegan cheese ad would of been way better and made more sense…..why meat?….lol

I made this today and was skeptical about the 'sausage' but holy cow!!! So delicious and the tofu scramble is also very good. I decreased the fennel since not a huge fan even though I did love black licorice. Not anymore. 🙂 It does have a place in this recipe to give it that sausage flavor. Incredible. Jill, you are brilliant. Thank you so much for your efforts. Love your videos and echo others who state you are relaxed and confident in your presentation.

  10. I have heard other vegans say that tofu is not good for you because it is soy based. I know you buy organic and so have I but does that make it better? What is your opinion on this?

  11. I'm just getting started with the whole food plant based lifestyle. This recipe looks like a nice one for the weekend when I have a bit more time. I haven't tried the tofu "egg" scramble but I learned from another site that the addition of black salt adds an eggie taste to the tofu. I'm not sure about that, but I will give it a try and let you know. Thanks for all the recipes and suggestions.

  12. I love the morning star maple sausage patties…. but I know they are not the healthiest. Is there a way you could make this a maple version???

I tried making just the scrambled egg recipe because I've been having a craving for that and it wasn't as good as expected, I ididn't like flavor of the spices but I liked the texture of it

  14. Thank you we're new subscribers. Switch to Plant Base. So, we're new to everything. Do you have a startup Plant Food Cookbook for newbies? So, worried not getting enough nutrients for our body. How can you tell? Abandoned all meats, salt/sugar.
