  10. Liv, I was hoping you could help me out. I've been having trouble finding a good flour. I bought an all-purpose and everything came out with a gummy texture. Then I bought another one with tapioca starch, something potatoes, and other stuff (gluten-free) and it smelled and tasted awful to me. So anyways, now I've bought oat flour. Would oat flour work for the cookies recipe? Also, why and how does a recipe becomes gummy? Is it the flour or something else I could be doing wrong?
